Layla in a call (mock, first draft)
Layla is a dedicated AI agent who joins the call as a participant. Face: Ingrid. Voice: Leda. She answers when addressed by name; a button is the fallback. This draft is revised from the spike's results (name-trigger accuracy, cutout, latency).
Open questions for the owner
- Does the tile say “Listening” at rest, or is the AI mark beside the shield enough? (Drawn: nothing at rest.)
- While Layla answers, does the tile name who asked (“Answering Kai”), or only that she is answering?
- Where does the button live: on Layla's tile (drawn), in the top bar, or both? Who can press it: anyone, or hosts only?
- Does pressing the button hold the floor until Done (drawn), or is it press-and-hold?
- Who adds Layla to a call, and who can remove her? Does she join every meeting with AI on, or only when invited?
- Does her joining change the one-time AI line (drawn), or does the existing “AI is present” line cover her?
- When meeting AI is switched off mid-call, does Layla leave the call, or stay muted?
- The 2D special tile when cutout fails: is a round face on the tile (drawn) right, or does 2D keep the plain video tile, since 2D tiles never cut out?

Her own tile with her face. The AI mark beside the shield covers disclosure; nothing extra on her tile at rest.
2 · Addressed by name, thinking (about 2.5 s)
Kai says her name. Only the person who said it is answered; nobody else's speech starts a turn.

The speaking keyline every participant gets, plus who she is answering.
4 · Button: Ask Layla
Always present (noisy rooms, accessibility). Press it, speak, press Done. Try it on the tile.

The one-time AI line names her, and People lists her as an AI agent. The shield-side AI mark stays.
6a · Failure: avatar video unavailable
Her voice still answers; her tile falls back to her face card.
6b · Failure: no answer
The answer did not arrive. One quiet line on her tile; the only colour is the glyph.
6c · Fallback: cutout failed, special tile in 2D
If her video can't be cut out, she is not a seat in 3D, and her 2D tile shows her face in a round frame.
